We are proud to support accessibility in golf at Bear Mountain Golf Club! Thanks to Maxxam Group, two ParaGolfers have been fixed and maintained, allowing more players to live life to the Maxx on the green. Hear from Marcia, a ParaGolfer user at Bear Mountain:

“I was always an athletic person until hit with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. I have been using the ParaGolfers for the past 5 years, unfortunately, this fall the adaptive carts broke down and I was on the sidelines for several months.

Maxxam stepped up to the plate and funded the repair of the ParaGolfers. Thankfully, the kindness of the folks from Maxxam Insurance made it possible for me to get back out on the course. I’m happy to say, that I am back out doing what I love, golfing with my husband and friends, enjoying fresh air, laughter, and a little competition. It is so good for my well-being.

ANNUAL GOLF tournament

Every year we host our Maxxam Charity Golf Tournament! This past July, members of our community joined us to support the BC Children’s Hospital and the BC Cancer Foundation while enjoying a day of golf, a silent auction, fabulous prizes, and live music.

We’re thrilled to share that the WestShore RCMP Gala Dinner, proudly sponsored by Maxxam Insurance, was a resounding success! This incredible evening brought together our community to support the Canadian Cancer Society, Cops for Cancer, and Tour de Rock. With a wonderful turnout, fantastic auction items, live music, and unforgettable moments, we are so proud to have been part of such a meaningful cause.
