Starting as a small insurance brokerage in Victoria, Maxxam Insurance has grown to be the largest independently owned by volume Automobile insurance agency on Vancouver Island and has now opened a second location on the Mainland in Burnaby which is the third largest automobile insurance agency in the province.

Since our inception we have grown to over seventy employees that bring many years of experience in all classes of insurance, ranging from Automobile to commercial, and life to travel insurance. Most of our brokers have spent most or all of their careers in Greater Victoria or Greater Vancouver and as a result have an intimate understanding of the local economy, business environment, and insurance market.
